Agganis Arena has dedicated itself to operating a sustainable venue throughout the years. Along with the entire BU campus, Agganis Arena works to improve environmental and social impacts through sustainability.

Over the past few years, Agganis Arena has participated in the “Save That Stuff” recycling program. In 2016, Agganis Arena helped save 184 adult trees, 260 cubic yards of landfill space, and 28,582 kilowatts of electricity. The Arena has also reduced your carbon footprint by 18 metric tons of carbon equivalent—this equals removing 14 cars from the road each year!
