Community Closet: Identity-Affirming Clothing Swap
Join Q for an identity-affirming clothing swap! Whether you're looking for more clothes that affirm your gender identity or you just want to experiment with your gender expression, you are welcome here! Bring any clothes you don’t want & leave with some you do! If you don’t have any items to donate, no worries! Our selection will be sure to accommodate you. We'll also have makeup kits & gender-affirming products available for you to order! You'll have the opportunity to try on gc2b half-style binders, borrow measuring tapes, & receive a TransTape or tucking tape sample. Please BYOB (bring your own bag)! Clothes, makeup kits, & gender-affirming product samples will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Light snacks will be provided. Accepted donation items: gently-worn clothes, shoes, outerwear, & accessories including jewelry (no piercing jewelry), jackets, belts, scarves, gloves, watches, handbags, unopened makeup, & ties. Please ensure your donations are clean, recently washed, & free from smoke & pet hair. If you have questions about whether an item will be accepted, please email us at queer@bu.edu.
