Women's Basketball
Boston University enters its 34th season in 2008-09 and is coming off of one of its most impressive seasons, having won 20 games for the first time in 20 years and just the second time in program history. The Terriers went undefeated last year at the Roof in Case Gymnasium, finishing with a perfect 11-0 mark in its home gym.
BU made its fifth appearance in six years in the America East Conference title game, picking up a victory against UMBC and a double-overtime triumph over Vermont in the semifinals before facing Hartford in the championship game.
During the 2007-08 campaign, the Terriers’ prolific offense set a school record for points in a season (2,220), while junior point guard Christine Kinneary broke the season mark for assists (214).
Kelly Greenberg begins her fifth season as head coach and owns a career record of 152-109, along with eight conference titles and seven NCAA tournament appearances. She will be assisted by Michael Leflar, Mary Helen Walker, Charmaine Steele and Director of Basketball Operations Sarah MacElroy.
The Roof
While "The Roof" at Case Gymnasium will continue to serve as the primary home of Terrier Basketball, Agganis Arena will proudly host a partial schedule of basketball games during the season.
