Men's Basketball

Led by America East Rookie of the Year John Holland and all-conference honoree Corey Lowe, the Boston University men’s basketball team closed out 2007-08 winning nine of its last 12 games and looks to keep rolling as the Terriers kick off the 2008-09 season.

Entering its 100th season of men’s basketball, BU wants to build on its proud tradition, which over the last 28 years includes 19 winning seasons, 11 20-win campaigns, five NCAA tournament appearances and five NIT trips. The Terriers split their time between the Roof at Case Gymnasium and Agganis Arena, making both venues home for Coach Dennis Wolff’s squad.

Holland was a six-time AE Rookie of the Week, and he was a big part of BU’s second-half resurgence, scoring in double figures in 11 of the Terriers’ last 14 games. The freshman guard/forward scored 38 points against Hartford at The Roof, setting a facility and rookie record for most points in a single game. Lowe earned All-America East Second-Team honors after posting a team-leading 18.1 points per game and breaking BU’s single-season record for 3-pointers with 92.

Now in his 15th season at the helm of the Terriers, Wolff led BU to four consecutive 20-win seasons and four straight post-season tournament appearances from 2002-05 – both program records. The three-time America East Coach of the Year is assisted by Orlando Vandross, Lamar Reddicks, Sean Ryan and Director of Basketball Operations Will Seward.

The Roof
While "The Roof" at Case Gymnasium will continue to serve as the primary home of Terrier Basketball, Agganis Arena will proudly host a partial schedule of basketball games during the season.
